In 2017, America is back, and for a good reason.
The world is watching, and we’re the only ones who know how to win.
We’re the one country on Earth that can lead the world in rebuilding its military and economic capabilities, and America has been able to do it without using the U.S. military.
The next four years are the most consequential four years of the Obama administration, and they’re shaping up to be the most crucial four years for the next four presidents.
We’ve been able, over the past two years, to transform the way we do business and build a world of opportunities for the most disadvantaged Americans.
We have the largest military in the world, we have the best doctors and engineers, and the brightest scientists and engineers.
We can lead a world without nuclear weapons, but we can’t be the world that sends them to fight wars.
That’s the challenge.
But we can do it, and so we must.
And I am going to do what I can to do that.
Because we’ve been through enough of this to know how difficult it is, I’m going to make this our goal and this our mission, and I will not let it go.
We will not be the victims of a new Cold War.
We are the champions of freedom.
We won’t be bullied into surrender.
And we will never be left behind.
And the world will be safer and more secure.
America will be stronger and more prosperous.
And America will lead the charge to protect our planet, its people, and its future.
We want you to know, that America will rise again.
We all want to know when America will go back to being great again.
America is in a position to do just that.
And that’s why I’m taking you back to the heart of America: the place where we made our greatest progress, where our dreams were first realized, and where our progress has not slowed.
You will see us again, and you will see America, again.
You can see it all.
You have the opportunity to be part of the next chapter in America’s comeback, and that chapter starts right here.
And let me tell you, it begins in the Oval Office.
Thank you, President Donald J. Trump.
Thank You, Mrs. Michelle N. Trump for joining me on this great program.
I look forward to hearing from you.
And now, as I look ahead to the next eight years, I want to start talking about how we can continue to build the kind of America we know and love.
Thank-you, ladies and gentlemen.
I’m with you.
The President, first, congratulations on winning the election.
You had a tremendous run, and to win this election, I think you did the right thing, because you knew what you were getting into.
You know that when you get out there, you have to win, and as I’ve said, you don’t just win the presidency.
You also win the Senate, House, governorships, statehouses, and ultimately, your states.
So, I am very proud of you.
But let me also say I want you all to know that the American people are proud of the people who ran and that the people of this great country are proud to have you.
Thank the people in your state and all over the country for making this possible.
You were the best and the best of America.
And you’re all going to get a chance to get even better in this next eight year term.
And what I’m doing today is going to help you and I’m not going to stop.
We’ll be back, we’ll be together, and together we’ll make America great again, America first, and God bless.
Thank all of you for joining us.
This is a momentous day for the nation.
And if we all stand together and do what’s right, then we can make America safe again, we can start building a world that works for all of us, and hopefully, we will see more of that greatness in the coming months.
We love you, America. Thank God.
