The new college will be located in downtown Tampa, which sits just south of the Tampa Bay area.
The College of the Arts and the College of Education have teamed up to create the College, which will be dedicated to providing a place where students can take advantage of a variety of academic programs, and an environment for them to connect with others.

The university says the College offers a diverse array of programs, including the College-to-Career Program, which allows students to take courses for their career goals, and the School of Nursing and Family Medicine, which offers an accelerated nursing program.
The University of the Sunshine State has a reputation for attracting the brightest and best of the state, with a wide range of programs that include the Art and Design program, which has a strong focus on artistic excellence, the School for the Arts, which aims to help students develop their talents and hone their communication skills, and its College of Technology, which is dedicated to bringing together students from diverse backgrounds.
