Posted July 30, 2018 05:03:56The bullies at Norwalk Community College in Connecticut aren’t just threatening to sue the college or the students who work there, according to their own parents.
The students and faculty have been getting threats in the mail and Facebook and are being told to “take care” of the situation, according the Norwalk Independent.
The letters from the bullies come in the wake of a report in The Washington Post that found that Norwalk has a long history of harassment and bullying.
The Post article detailed what the school said was a lack of a policy that would protect employees and students.
Norwalk also says it’s working to make sure the students are safe and protected.
A spokesman for Norwalk said the school is investigating the reports and has launched an internal investigation.
A Norwalk spokesperson said the students’ parents have been notified of the letter and are taking steps to protect the students.
The school says it has been in contact with the students, faculty and administrators.
Norwalk said in a statement that it is investigating and that it “is committed to protecting the safety and welfare of our students and staff.”
The students who spoke to the Post said they were asked to leave the school on Friday, July 28.
